Today's ADAD theme is "I Dislike"!
I don't like that there is only one week left of summer vacation

So what did I do for this ADAD photo?
I started looking for a photo background and ended up
I started looking for a photo background and ended up
looking up photos of one-room school houses.
Mason Street Schoolhouse Museum at Old Town San Diego |
This old school house is a museum in Old Town San Diego.
I have visited it more than once. It was the first public schoolhouse in San Diego.

Even though my search started out for a background for today's photo,

Indio Public School |
What I found is that the education of children outside of the home

Sod School |
Marquiss School |
Some locations were remote and very rural. Some time periods

Depression Era |

Other areas and other time periods had more resources.
They had nicer buildings, and children dressed in clean, nice clothes.
