Halloween Party

We were so excited about the Halloween Party with the local BJD collectors!
We were ready to go and play!

It was really nice to see our friends who have
been a member of the group for awhile,
but haven't been able to make it to the more recent events.
We had fun with the regulars, too!

The dolls that came to the party sat on two different cabinets!

The group leader/organizer had searched DOA and found a few
new locals to join us! It was a great turn out!

The party was in the suite of a local hotel. The hotel
looked like an apartment complex, and the suite looked
like an apartment. The hosts even decorated it for the party!

The people enjoyed the food that was brought to the party
or that they finished cooking in the oven in the room's kitchen.

The people enjoyed each other,
and being able to interact with their dolls
and share them with friends.

Every person even received a goodie bag that included
a necklace. They were so thoughtful that they included the
different sizes for YoSD/MSD/SD dolls.
Ella received a YoSD sized necklace with a skull on it!

She decided to check out the food table more carefully.

Do you like peanut butter and jelly witch's fingers?

Yummy!

Then we noticed that others were playing with the coffin
decoration along the wall.

Other members continued to share dolls and stories.

Ella enjoyed playing on the other side of the table
where the candy was!

Then, we noticed three members taking pictures...
hmmm....

Ella was invited to join them!

ADAD Living?

They were quite interesting characters!

We each received a party favor sized pumpkin container.

Everyone enjoyed themselves at the party!

Autumn wanted her turn to walk around.
She found the table with more goodie containers.
We took Frankenstein  home.

One member had dressed like a pirate like her doll.

Are you ready for the raffle?
We won pipe cleaners I will take to school for art projects
for my 2nd grade students.

And we all kept talking and enjoying each other's company
until it was time to go home.

We had a great time!
It was a fabulous party!

I Want Candy!

October 20, 2015

Where is the candy?
Haven't you bought any Halloween candy yet?

ADAD Upside Down
So when will you buy candy?

When is Halloween? Maybe we will get candy then!

October 21, 2015

Meanwhile, I bought a bag of candy before work the next morning.
I am a special education teacher with eight 2nd grade students,
and one large Domo in the drawer where I keep my personal things.

I won't say I wasn't warned, but the candy in this bag
disappeared pretty quickly.

October 24, 2015

Early Saturday morning, I took a trip to Target
and their candy section.

I enjoyed their Halloween decorations before checking out
with my purchases.

I bought a few bags of my favorite candy

and a plastic witch cauldron to hold it.

Perfect!
Mind you, I don't have trick or treaters visiting
my apartment complex. They go into local residential neighborhoods.
I do have eight 7 year olds I can bribe...uh... provide an incentive
for doing their work, but this will probably stay at home for my
enjoyment during the next few weeks.

You finally bought candy for us!!!!

I also found my doll sized party-favor witch cauldron.

Autumn showed off her new "green witch" costume
with the cauldron of new candy.

ADAD Brand New
Amaya decided that she would much rather
be the queen of the full sized candy filled cauldron.

Happy Halloween Week!
