New Mexico Gingerbread

The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center
hosted a unique gingerbread contest.
The structures were to resemble New Mexico architecture,
such as Pueblos, adobe houses, mission churches, etc.

The first place adult winner constructed a gingerbread
version of the Taos Pueblo.

 2nd Place
The Acoma Pueblo is also known as "Sky City".

3rd Place
An Adobe Casita with Horno

Other Entries Ranged from Colorful as Candy
to Authentic Representations of New Mexico Buildings

My personal favorite showed an inside scene.
With all of these details, I don't know why it didn't earn an award.

I loved the truck in this one!

There were a few entries by children.

This turned into a fun way to start my Christmas vacation.
