Oh Christmas Tree

Today is the Winter Solstice.
Since it is also Sunday, it seemed like a good
morning to hang out in our pajamas.

Ella is excited about her Christmas pajamas by Spampy.
It is close enough to Christmas to wear them!

I have several miniature Christmas trees in my apartment.
Ella decided that the one on the dresser was just the right size.

Roses, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and New Mexico are a theme in my bedroom.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is framed in tin on the wall.

To be honest, the Boyds potted roses and resin bear sit near the tree.

The large iron key is from an old house in Taos.
The owner of the house was referred to by author Tony Hillerman
in the first few pages of the book "The Great Taos Bank Robbery".
Besides that, I love old keys, and this one is heavy, big,
and historically interesting.

Then, the dust is starting to look like a light dusting of snow...
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
