Seaport Village

Ella most wanted to visit the two places in San Diego
that were on postcards in her treehouse. We visited
Balboa Park on Thursday, which was the day after we arrived.
We visited the La Jolla Cove on Saturday.
On Monday, we had a final place to visit before we went home
on Tuesday.

We visited Seaport Village. Seaport Village is located near the bay
with the Coronado bridge in the background.

It has more than 50 shops and restaurants in small buildings that are varied
architecturally, but represent the history of San Diego.

We bought postcards in a souvenir shop.
We also purchased a shell and more postcards in sea shell shop.

They have boats in the harbor area along the walkway,
and many boats out on the bay.

After a little shopping, we went to walk along the sidewalk
by the bay again. We saw a big naval ship coming under the bridge!

We found a place to watch it go by.

It continued in the bay as there is are areas of naval ships
and other large ships docked in the bay.

The wind blew Ella's hair.

We walked back to the shopping area after
watching the naval ship pass by.

We walked past a small pond and a stream of water.
It was time to get ready to leave San Diego.

Ella was happy to go home with more postcards!
